Metal curtain poles are very durable and work well in any interior. Brass curtain poles suit a traditional look but sit just as comfortably with trend-led schemes. And, as our ranges include silver, black, graphite, grey and chrome curtain poles, we have options for every taste.
To complement our metal curtain poles, we also offer a wide choice of finials. If you like a classic or pared back look, you might prefer a simple ball finial or cap. Like to add a flourish or a touch of glitz? Look for our ornate glass or bejewelled finials.
To provide the choice you’re looking for and the quality we expect, we stock a mix of well-known brands we trust, including Speedy, Swish, Hallis and Rolls. Speedy offers our best-value poles and Rolls Neo has particularly eye-catching styles.
The lengths we go to
Across most of our metal pole ranges, the lengths available range from 120cm, right up to 500cm in the silver Rolls Neo range. So you can find a pole for everything from standard windows to sweeping bifold doors.
When ordering a pole, select a length that’s at least 30cm longer than the width of your window. This gives 15cm on each side to stack your curtains away and let in maximum light.
If you can’t find exactly the right length, it’s no problem. You can easily cut our metal curtain poles to the right length. Just remember, if your order a longer pole, it will arrive in two lengths with a joining piece and extra bracket. So, if you need to shorten the overall length, cut the same amount off each pole – then the joint stays in the middle.
Our metal curtain poles come in a range of diameters too, including 19mm, 28mm and 35mm curtain poles. If your curtains are heavy, you’ll need a thicker pole to hold the weight.
A full kit and optional extras
Finials, brackets, rings and fixtures are all included in our curtain pole kits, so your pole is ready to fit. You can also order matching holdbacks to keep your curtains neatly away from the window, and other accessories such as draw rods.
