Eyelet curtains are a modern option that are easy to hang, draw and open and give a sleek look. We offer eyelet curtain pole kits in a wide range of colours, including black, brass, rose gold, brushed gold, chrome, graphite, grey and silver. And they come with a big variety of curtain pole finials – from elegant bullet shapes to decorative acorn designs. So, whatever your interiors style, we have an eyelet curtain pole option to suit.
To make sure you get quality we trust, we stock eyelet curtain pole kits from well-known, well-loved brands, including Speedy, Swish, Rolls and Hallis. In each kit, you get a pole, plus brackets and finials – but no rings, as they’re not needed for eyelet curtains. For most of our eyelet poles, you can also order matching holdbacks to keep your curtains away from the window and let in maximum light.
Perfect proportions
Remember to check the size of the eyelets in your curtains to make sure they’ll slide over the pole you order. Our eyelet poles come with diameters of 28mm or 35mm. Also think about the weight of your curtains, as well as the size of the eyelets, when deciding on the diameter. If your curtains are heavier, it’s best to go for a thicker pole so it can support the weight. If your curtains are light, or your window is small, a thinner pole will be ok.
We stock eyelet curtain poles in lengths ranging from 120cm. And the Speedy Globe range even has a 500cm pole that’s ideal for a long span of floor-to-ceiling windows or bifold doors, or for curtains used as a room divider. When selecting a pole length, make sure it’s at least 30cm longer than your window width. This lets you stack your curtains away from the window so they’re not blocking the light.
Can’t find the right length?
That’s fine – it’s easy to cut our eyelet poles to the size you need. Just bear in mind that longer poles arrive in two lengths with an extra bracket and joining piece. So you need to cut the same amount from each pole so the joint stays in the middle.
