Our extra-long curtain poles are ideal for dressing wide expanses of glass, and we’ve got lots of options to choose from. Whether you’re looking for a traditional wooden pole to dress a picture window or a sleek, eyelet pole to run above your bi-fold doors. And whether you want a coloured pole to match the paintwork on your French doors or a metal pole to complement your patio doors.
You’ll find all our curtain poles over 400cm in this section – and some are as long as 600cm in The Hallis Arc and Rolls Modern Country ranges. If you’d like a pole with no joint, we have 500cm poles available as one piece in our Rolls Neo range, such as this one with a ball finial.
Exactly the right size for you
If you have the space, your curtain pole should ideally be at least 30cm wider than your window or door. This lets you pull your curtains away from the glass to allow more light into the room.
Can’t find the exact length you’re looking for? It’s easy to cut our poles down to size. Just remember, if you order a pole that’s supplied in two lengths, you need to cut an equal amount from each pole, so the joint stays in the middle.
We also offer extra-long curtain poles in a variety of thicknesses. From slender poles with a 25mm diameter right up to chunky 55m-diameter poles. Thin poles are perfect if you’re using lightweight fabric and don’t have much space to play with above your window or door. Thicker poles are great if you have heavier curtains or want to the pole to make more of a statement.
Everything you need in one kit
As with all our curtain pole kits, our extra-long poles come with curtain rings, brackets and finials (the decorative end pieces). If they’re supplied in two lengths, you’ll also get a joining piece to connect them. Plus a third bracket for the centre to add extra support and conceal the joint between the two halves.
