Speedy 28mm Sphere 5 Sided Bay Window Ceiling Fixed Curtain Pole Satin Silver and Black

The Speedy Sphere 28mm 5 sided bay window ceiing fixed curtain pole in satin silver and black offers a stylish coloured bay window set. 

Complete with Black Sphere finials, satin silver nylon lined passing rings, black ceiling fitted pass-over brackets and satin silver single corner joints and poles, this simplistic metal bay curtain pole will dress your bay window with elegance.

The satin silver passing rings are nylon lined, to ensure they glide quietly and smoothly. They have a small section cut out of them to allow them to pass over the adjustable wall fixed brackets and allow your curtains to be fully opened, letting in maximum light to your room. The passing rings only work correctly when used with curtains that have lots of fabric tightly gathered together in the heading of the curtain. The top pocket on the curtain heading tape must be used so that the top of the curtain sits beneath the bottom of the rings. If your curtain heading does not have lots fabric tightly gathered together, the curtains will pull down on the rings when opening and closing and this will prevent the rings from passing over the brackets.

We understand that not all bay windows are the same size, so our satin silver poles can be easily cut to size using a small fine tooth saw.

The satin silver single corner joints will allow the rings to glide around any angle up to 60 degrees, meaning that this satin silver Speedy Sphere bay window curtain pole really is fit for any 5 sided bay window.

The black brackets supplied (5) are at a fixed position and fitted only to the ceiling. The bracket has a drop of 81.5mm (8.15cm) from the top of the bracket to the cup where the pole will sit. We advise having around 85mm (8.5cm) gap from the ceiling to the start of the window panel for these brackets to sit perfectly. Any less than this will make the pole sit too low below the window panel and this will not work well with your curtains stopping light from seeping in through the gap above the pole. The back plate of the bracket that fixes in place with screws has a length of 48.5mm (4.85cm). Please see the diagram provided to help you view the bracket dimension. We recommend using only a light to medium weighted curtain.

Important: Not suitable for tall windows. This bay window pole must not be fitted at a height so high that you are unable to glide the rings across the pole. If the pole is fitted too high, you will end up putting downward force on the rings, which in turn will cause friction against the pole and brackets. This will make it very difficult to open and close the curtains.
