Speedy 19mm County Crown Bay Window Black

Speedy 19mm County Crown bay pole set in black is supplied with all the components required to self-assemble for a 3 sided bay window. The finials add a definitive finish to the pole set.

 The serrated poles in this kit are to be bent to fit the awkward bends of the bay window, to be bent by hand with the cuts facing inside of the bend. Pole lengths are 210 cm each and these 2 poles are connected in the centre of the bay by the supplied connector. All poles can be cut down to size using a fine tooth hacksaw. Please note, the pole to be fixed on the side panel will accommodate a length of no more than 90 cm from the pole end to the serrated section, and a middle panel of 240 cm. We would recommend cutting from the section of the pole that you do not require the full length from. Please view image 2 to help you view the pole lengths before bending.

Also with this kit are 5 tube wall supports which can also be used as ceiling fixed when mounted to a ceiling joist. Of the 5 supports, it is recommended to use 1 for the centre and 2 for the ends of the bay. The brackets are non-adjustable with a fixed length of 57mm from the back plate to the front. The back plate measures at 40mm from where the screws fix.

Plastic rings are also supplied, to use on curtains. With this kit 44 rings from the 19mm diameter selection have been recommended but extra can be purchased as an additional purchase. It is not recommended to use eyelet curtains with this pole set. The painted finish will flake off from the curtain eyelet rings.

The 19mm pole section is best used with light curtains only. This is a recommended weight at no more than 7kg. Heavier curtains will weigh down the pole and compromise the structure. Voiles and or cotton/linen curtains with no lining are best used.
